Appointment Cancellation & Refund Policy

Appointment times are reserved especially for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible.

Cancellations with more than 24 hours’ notice

You will receive a full refund (100%) when you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Cancellations within 24 hours

For cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, 75% of the appointment fee will be refunded, with 25% retained as a cancellation fee. Alternatively, you may convert your in-person appointment to a telehealth appointment at no additional cancellation fee, provided the service is appropriate for telehealth.

Emergency cancellations

Emergency cancellations will be reviewed on an individual basis. Please contact Anchor Pelvic Therapy as soon as reasonably possible if an emergency prevents you from attending your appointment.

How to cancel or change your appointment

Please contact Anchor Pelvic Therapy as soon as possible to cancel your appointment or request a change to telehealth.

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Good Faith Estimate

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Anchor Pelvic Therapy is a self-pay physical therapy practice. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your physical therapy services if you do not have health insurance or choose not to use your insurance to pay for your care.

You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling an appointment. An estimate will also be provided when required under federal law.

What Does Physical Therapy Cost?

The standard fee for an individual physical therapy session with Anchor Pelvic Therapy is $160 per session.

Your total estimated cost will depend on the services recommended for your individual needs and the anticipated number of visits. Your estimate will outline the services expected to be provided and their anticipated charges.

If your care plan changes or additional visits are recommended, your expected costs may change. You may request an updated estimate.

What Should You Know About Your Estimate?

  • A Good Faith Estimate is not a bill and does not obligate you to receive the services listed.

  • You may ask questions about your estimate at any time.

  • Keep a copy of your estimate for your records.

  • If your final bill from Anchor Pelvic Therapy is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
